Who we are
Lumen Barre ([LEGAL BUSINESS NAME]), [MAILING ADDRESS], Toronto, ON, Canada. Privacy contact: [NAME / TITLE], lumenbarre@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist: your first name, email address, preferred colourway and size (optional), whether you ticked the email consent box and the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you signed up from, and technical details sent by your browser (IP address, approximate country and browser type).
Why we collect it
- To hold your waitlist spot and tell you about it.
- If you ticked the consent box: to email you launch news, Founding 150 offers and updates.
- To keep a record of your consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
- To plan our first production run (colour and size interest).
Consent and unsubscribing
The email consent box is never pre-ticked. If you don't tick it, we'll send only the confirmation of your sign-up. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing lumenbarre@gmail.com. We honour requests within 10 business days.
Where it's stored and who we share it with
Waitlist records are stored with Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and storage). Your information may be processed and stored outside Canada, including in the United States, by Cloudflare, and may be subject to the laws of those countries. If we later move the list to an email platform or online store, we'll share only what's needed to email you or fulfil your order. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist records until you ask us to delete them or until [RETENTION PERIOD] after our launch. We keep a record of consent and unsubscribes as long as needed to prove compliance.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing lumenbarre@gmail.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). Quebec residents may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
